What does True Mean?

Our mission is simple; not just to get a young man/woman extra touches on the ball and/or put a smile on their face, but to use our years and years of combined experiences playing professionally, coaching/training youth soccer, and doing skill sessions to change the player on/off the field to work smart and not just hard. Because when a player sees more results in less time then they will start to cultivate a growth mindset and, ultimately, become the best version of themselves as a person/player. The TRUE in our mission’s name is very important to us, because, with many parents knowing very little about skill acquisition (and the game in general), there is a lot of “falsely” (for lack of better words) effective training methods and programs peddled out there that look okay, but don’t have much thought into it how it will develop the player. It’s simple; Quality over Quantity!

Our son has been training with Kyle for over a year and we have seen so much growth in our son's skills and confidence on the soccer field. Playing for a travel soccer team can be really challenging and Kyle's training sessions focus on how to improve game play, endurance, confidence and overall attitude towards sportsmanship. He also knows how to have fun with the kiddos and keep them engaged throughout the training sessions. We feel very fortunate our son has the opportunity to train with a coach at Kyle's level and we look forward to sending our son to TPD in the years to come!

This has been a phenomenal place for our 12 year old son. Coach Kyle does an amazing job teaching the kids a variety of soccer techniques, from heading the ball, to dribbling, to defensive drills, striking, etc. We had our first NAL game for the season this past weekend, and what a difference we noticed from working with Coach Kyle. Our son's ball striking, field awareness and footwork have improved significantly. We have been going religiously to True at least once a week, sometimes two times a week since the end of summer, and into the fall and winter. We will continue even with the spring season ramping up because what coach Kyle teaches cannot be replicated. We appreciate it very much. From a parent's perspective it is so fun to watch the improvement and to see how happy and confident our son is becoming on the field. Thank you! 😀

My daughter has been training with Kyle for many, many years and he is an outstanding coach and mentor to young players. Kyle is great at developing players and really puts his heart into improving all facets of the player's game. Kyle is great at technique and establishing strong technical skills. Beyond that, he also provides great advice on strategy that separates the good players from the great. His sessions are fun but meaningful and he does a great job of connecting with players of all ages and skill levels. Under the new True Player Development I am certain that their training will be even more focused and cutting edge.

We’re going to use investment rather than price because this is an investment in your child’s career and development as a person. We can tell you first hand from being able to travel the world and grow as a person through the experiences/people this sport has provided us.

The Mission

Our mission is what drives what we do. This mission is simple; to use the beautiful game and the lessons/experiences it can provide to make the world a better place. The founders, Kyle Knotek and Louie Mojica, are shining examples of the difference this game can make in a player’s life. Kyle wasn’t raised with religion and really had no direction when he was a kid; he only knew one thing and that was that he loved this game. He spent his life chasing his dream of becoming a professional soccer player and, after blowing nearly everything in both knees, he found God through soccer and used his guidance to help achieve that goal and become the player he had always dreamed of becoming and, more importantly, an individual driven by a greater good. We act in accordance with the mantra “pay it forward!” We’ve been blessed by the game/its experiences and know it’s our responsibility to help others get as much from this beautiful game as possible.
